Are you a user or neighbour of the Bristol & Bath Railway Path?
 
The Avon Frome Partnership organises Topic Group meetings to discuss matters relating to the Railway Path. These evening meetings are an important means of communication with the wide range of people and organisations with an interest in the Path. Come along to learn more about current projects, walking and cycling, heritage and wildlife, or talk about Path issues that concern you.

About the Avon Frome Partnership

Today the Path is owned by Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and Bath & North East Somerset Council. Some small sections are owned by Sustrans. The work of maintaining and developing the Path is co-ordinated through the Avon Frome Partnership.
 
The Avon Frome Partnership develops projects that focus on improvement of the local heritage, landscape, recreation and wildlife in the Avon and Frome Valleys around Bath, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Community consultation is an important part of the project. The Avon Frome Partnership is core funded by Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and Bath & North East Somerset Council. It employs a full time Development Officer: 0117 922 4325.
 
Avon Frome Partnership Logo The Bristol & Bath Railway Path is a priority for the Avon Frome Partnership and a working group was set up in 2000 to bring together all the authorities and user groups involved with the Path. In 2000 a business plan was written for the Path and a draft management strategy has since been written which was completed in 2001.
